Furuno Omni CSH10 Sonar: For The Angler Who Wants It All

Furuno’s new commercial-grade Omni CSH10 sonar delivers data and targeting features most offshore anglers can’t even imagine.

The ultimate fishfinder can see everything underwater – not just down or off to the sides but a full 360-degrees around in every direction. Furuno’s Omni sonar provides this sort of divine fishfinding ability, blasting out its sonar waves 360-degrees to detect targets far faster than searchlight-style sonar.

The newly upgraded Furuno Omni CSH10 is an 83.5 kHz high-frequency sonar with a sharp beam width that’s designed for hardcore offshore anglers and professional charter captains – and priced accordingly. We’ll get to that, but any weekend angler can appreciate the features and details found on next-level fish finding machines. Imagine if your sounder could deliver:

  • Reception beam stabilization technology via motion sensors that cancel out the rocking and rolling of the boat.
  • Target Lock function that can track a school of fish while displaying their distance, depth, direction of travel, and speed.
  • Fish Quality Mark feature that calculates size, distance, and depth of the school, then ranks it with an index value for efficient targeting.
  • Detection ranges extending up to nearly 3,000 feet.

Furuno has given this next-gen Omni sonar all these abilities plus a faster transducer deploy/retract time, a new tilt indicator, and compatibility with wired or wireless remotes and/or a NavNet TZtouchXL MFD. But the ultimate fishfinder comes with a starting price ($84,000, plus installation) as much as some of the boats we run around in. But hey, we can always dream, right?
